Dear friends!

The Theatre of Ob-Ugrian Peoples – Sun presents a new literary-and-musical composition Honey Ob on the base of the volume of his poems with the same title which was the launching point to his creative career. The event is devoted to the 70th anniversary of Khanty poet Mikul Shulgin.

The Theatre of Ob-Ugrian Peoples – Sun always tries to keep in close touch with national artists – painters and musicians, poets and writers. In the course of time this cooperation becomes a real tradition.

The first night wass hold on the 28 January in the Exhibition Hall of Peoples Friendship House.

His first poems were published in the okrug’s newspaper Leninskaya Pravda in October of 1959. The Khanty poet Mikul Shulgin wrote some volumes. They are Tovi ar (Spring Song) in Khanty (1969), fairy-tale in Khanty and Russian languages Nelyng Ai Voi (Greedy Mouse) (1961) and Blagodarnost’ (Gratitude) in Russian (1975).

An imaginary way of the poet’s life is reflected with help of theatre’s expressive means – poems, music, dances and songs in the new composition. You can remember and feel the atmosphere of the 60-70s of great soviet epoch, of the time where the poet lived and created.

Dear friends, who appreciate theatre art and poetry, who like national culture and art, welcome to the theatre to see the new composition!
