The «Ob-Ugrian peoples’ theatre» has two halls. The capacity of the Conference hall, which is situated at the first floor of the House of International Friendship, is 170 sits. The stage, which is 20 square meters, is equipped with two make-up rooms. The Conference hall is decorated with the author’s tableau curtains, which was designed by the painter Ekaterina Danilchenko and was maid by the Industrial Complex of Monumental Decorative Art, Moscow.
The first performance of the «Ob-Ugrian peoples’ theatre», «Following the sun, looking after the world», which is based on the Khanty and Mansi peoples’ folklore, was put on the stage in this hall and was planned on the basis of the stage dimensions.
