Dear friends!
In 2002 aboriginal nations of Ugra the Khanty and Mansi peoples took a chance for the first time to represent their scenic art by means of a professional theatre. The Ob-Ugrian peoples’ theatre is the only national professional theatre in Russia. It is not an easy work to be the first. But we are not alone in our creative search. Our theatre was created because of great support and help of scientists, musicians, masters of folk trades, writers, painters and tutors, who generously shared their knowledge and experience with us.
